.edit |
| What It Does: |
Once you've bought a room, you can edit your room description with the
".edit" command. All you have to do is go to your home (".home"), and
type ".edit". You will enter the editor, and then you just need to
enter your room description. If you decide later that you want to change
your room description, all you have to do is use ".edit" again. The
editor commands are: ".h" (brings up the help menu), ".s" (save and send
your s-mail), ".a" (abort your s-mail), ".v" (view your s-mail so far),
".#" (jump to the line number you specify), ".d#" (delete the specified
line number), ".+" (advance one line), and ".-" (go back one line). Also,
in your room description, you can use color codes to change the text color,
and you can use "%s" in the body of your room description to have it
display the name of the person looking at it. For example, if your room
description reads "I see you, %s.", when "BALDRICK" looks at it, it will
read as "I see you, BALDRICK." |
