Java telnet is a fully functional telnet application that you can run right from your web browser! To start the program, simply click the connect button below. If this is your first time using the Java Telnet Applet to connect to EI, then it will take a few minutes to load (depending on the speed of your connection--up to 3 minutes [14400bps]). When you're done, just close the telnet window.

Your Browser seems to have no Java support. Please get a Java 1.2 capable browser such as Netscape 4.x.

If you have problems running the Java Telnet Applet, make sure your browser is Java 1.2 capable. Such browsers include Netscape 4.x, and Internet Explorer 4.x. Also, many people complain that the Java Telnet Applet is sluggish. We can't do much about this, it is just the way Java works. Try a full-fledged telnet program if you have too many problems with Java.
